Getting Help 53-76

Griffin was standing in line when white walked up; took his hand and shook it. Griffin stayed the night white man's house. In the book it says, "He shook my Negro hand in full view of everyone on the street,"like he didn't care if the police saw him. Mr. East wanted to help the black people in anyway he could. He ask if it is fair to take tax money from Negro and then use it to support an organization. You can find it on page 75 second paragraph.
